Barbara Chiasson

SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA

Barbara Chiasson is a Multi Media, Tattoo Artist and owner, operator of ‘Barb’s House of Art, Fine Art & Tattoo Studio’, located on Coxheath Rd.

Her mediums consist of, Oils; Watercolors; Acrylics; Pastels; Charcoals and Airbrushing, Pencil Crayons and Inks, creating an array of, Portraits, Signs, Landscapes, Seascapes, Murals and Tattoos.

Barb’s pieces are often described as eclectic.  Something for everyone…

I just want to beautify the world.

Barbara’s artistic influence undoubtedly came from her Grandparents, Igor and Svetlana Gouzenko “both” of whom were Artists, Authors and Canadian Heroes.

Barbara is continually active in volunteer work, she has spent many years in Sydney, NS and Hamilton, ON, teaching art to seniors, children, disabled and the blind.

Barbara studied Graphic Design at Ontario College of Art, and attended Canador College to study under the Cartoonist Lynn Johnson of “For Better Or Worse”.

Barbara is excited to be a part of the Louisbourg Plein Air Event this summer.
