Bev Niven
SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA
Beverley Niven is a native Cape Bretoner and lives in Sydney Nova Scotia. She attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cape Breton University. She has been photographing Cape Breton and surrounding areas for the past 7 years. From the simple beauty of her family’s garden to the architecture of buildings old and new, Beverley captures the uniqueness of everyday life and makes us take a second look.
Beverley has exhibited in art galleries and venues throughout Cape Breton and her work can be found in private collections throughout Canada and the US. Her work can be seen at the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design and on PBase.com. In April 2010, the Art Bank of Nova Scotia purchased Bev’s “Sydney Watercolors”.
